R J Everitt was set up in 1997 by Rupert Everitt as a diversification from the family farming business.

Initially the business concentrated on domestic landscaping works, both revamping existing gardens and constructing gardens from scratch around new build properties.

Very soon the company diversified into Public Rights of Way contracting, grounds maintainence works for various utilities and commercial landscaping. Our speciallity is carrying out works in hazardous and sensitive areas, such as adjacent to roads and waterways, within transmitter compounds and within conservation areas.

All staff are trained and certificated for their speciality. R J Everitt has a policy of ongoing training, using both external providers and in house training. We can provide generic and site specific risk assessments and method statements for all work undertaken. We are comprehensively insured and are happy to provide copies of certification and insurance if required.

We cover the whole South West peninsula from our base between Totnes and Kingsbridge. we can now offer our service in South and West Wales from a new base in Pembrokeshire.

R J Everitt is also able to offer a consultancy service to landowners and others who may wish to establish or improve existing paths, whether these are private, permissive or public rights of way.  The fence in the background was designed & built by us in conjunction with the highway authority in order to slow traffic on the approach to a roundabout. The orange Templer Way waymarks were fitted by us as part of the re-signing of the route.
